Pertamina Explains Factors Behind Pertamax Turbo Price Adjustment

Pertamina Patra Niaga raised prices for three non-subsidized fuels, citing movements in global crude oil prices and the rupiah exchange rate. The new prices for Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite and Pertamina Dex took effect on Sept. 1, 2026.

Pertamax Turbo rose from 18,300 rupiah to 19,600 rupiah per liter. Dexlite increased from 19,700 rupiah to 23,700 rupiah, while Pertamina Dex climbed from 21,150 rupiah to 25,200 rupiah per liter.

Kitty Andhora, Pertamina Patra Niaga’s vice president for corporate communications, said the company also considered the government’s pricing formula, taxes and the purchasing power of fuel consumers. She said the adjustment applied only to selected non-subsidized products. Pertamax 92 and Pertamax Green 95 kept their existing prices.

The price adjustment applies only to some non-subsidized fuel products, namely Pertamax Turbo, Pertamina Dex and Dexlite, while other non-subsidized products such as Pertamax 92 and Pertamax Green 95 are not adjusted.
