Pertamina Updates Subsidized Fuel QR Code Data to Improve Distribution

Pertamina Patra Niaga, the regional arm for Jatimbalinus, is actively working to refine the distribution of subsidized fuel by updating the QR code data for its consumers in East Java. This proactive measure aims to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of fuel allocation, ensuring that subsidized fuel reaches the intended recipients without unnecessary hurdles.

The company's initiative comes in response to feedback from the truck driver community, who have reported frequent technical glitches and errors with the QR code system. These issues have reportedly caused significant delays and disruptions in the distribution of goods, highlighting the urgent need for a more robust and reliable system. Pertamina acknowledges these concerns and is committed to resolving them.

Ahad Rahedi, Area Manager of Communication, Relations & CSR for Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jatimbalinus, emphasized that the data updates are a strategic move to align QR code usage and subsidized fuel quotas with legitimate vehicle ownership. This process is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the government's "Subsidi Tepat" (On-Target Subsidy) program, which aims to ensure that subsidized fuel, including Biosolar and Pertalite, is utilized by those who are rightfully eligible.

To support drivers facing difficulties, Pertamina has set up 147 helpdesks throughout East Java. These centers are designed to expedite the re-verification and reactivation of QR codes, enabling drivers to purchase subsidized fuel without further complications. Pertamina is urging individuals whose data is not yet active to complete the re-registration process using accurate vehicle information, ensuring a smoother experience for all.
