Petropar raises all fuel prices again

Petropar, Paraguay's state-owned oil company, has once again raised the prices of all its fuel products and even gas. This decision, announced via their social media channels, comes just 20 days after the last price adjustment in April.

The new tariffs, effective immediately, show increases ranging from G. 200 to G. 750 per liter across the board. The updated prices are as follows: Diésel Porã at G. 8,200, Diésel Mbarete at G. 10,000, Nafta Kape 88 at G. 6,690, Nafta Oikoite 93 at G. 7,190, and Nafta Aratirí 97 at G. 8,540.

This recurring price hike by Petropar is likely to impact consumers significantly, especially given the current economic climate. As a state-owned entity, Petropar's pricing decisions often reflect broader economic policies and global market trends, but the frequency of these increases raises concerns about affordability and the cost of living for ordinary Paraguayans.
