PNG Basketball Teams Invited to Elite FIBA High-Performance Camp

Papua New Guinea's basketball program is set for a significant boost with an elite invitation from FIBA and Olympic Solidarity. This prestigious opportunity will see our U23 Men's and Women's 3x3 teams, alongside the Open Women's 3x3 team, travel to the Gold Coast, Australia, for a high-performance training camp.

The camp, scheduled from May 23-27, 2026, is a crucial step in preparing our athletes for a demanding international calendar. It is specifically designed to hone the skills of Pacific athletes, ensuring they are in peak condition for upcoming competitions, most notably the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
