Police Foil 21.1 Kg Methamphetamine Distribution in Riau

The Indonesian National Police, through the Directorate of Narcotics Crime Bareskrim Polri, have successfully dismantled a significant drug trafficking network in Riau, apprehending a suspect and confiscating a substantial amount of crystal methamphetamine.

The suspect, identified as Dedi Maryanto, was apprehended based on credible community intelligence regarding drug trafficking activities in the Riau region. His arrest at a workshop in Bengkel Diori, Jalan Lintas Minas Perawang, Siak Regency, followed information that he had obtained the drugs in Dumai and was preparing to transport them to Jambi, acting under the direction of the drug syndicate's owner.
