Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto stated the nation requires substantial investment but emphasized that the benefits must extend to citizens in remote areas, ensuring they also enjoy a good quality of life. He made these remarks during the inauguration of 3,395 bridges and 3,000 clean water sources constructed by the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and National Police (Polri).

The newly built bridges are expected to greatly benefit local communities by easing travel that previously took hours and improving access to essential services. The clean water sources address critical needs in areas that previously struggled with water scarcity. Prabowo underscored that TNI and Polri must fully dedicate themselves to serving the people, reminding them that they are the "people's army and police."

The "Precision Red and White Bridge" program, part of the Polri's efforts to address basic infrastructure needs in rural areas, has seen the construction and revitalization of 895 bridges across 30 regional police commands. These bridges span a total of 19.2 kilometers, connecting 1,314 villages and benefiting approximately 2 million people. The infrastructure aims to improve connectivity, safety, and access to schools, health facilities, places of worship, and economic centers, thereby fostering regional development and improving livelihoods.
