Prabowo: Many of My Ministers Were Hospitalized Due to Working Too Hard

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto revealed that a significant number of his cabinet ministers have been hospitalized or suffered from exhaustion due to their intense work ethic. During his State Address at the People's Consultative Assembly's Annual Session, Prabowo described how his ministers and aides worked so diligently that some required medical attention, including hospitalizations and surgeries.

"My ministers and my aides have worked so hard that some of them had to be admitted to the hospital. Some fainted, some had surgery, many were exhausted," Prabowo stated during the joint session of the DPR and DPD in Jakarta. He acknowledged the immense dedication of his team, emphasizing their commitment to serving the nation and the people.

Looking ahead, Prabowo promised to prioritize rest for his staff during the remaining period of his presidency. He noted that his team often responds to such promises with playful skepticism, as seen in his address where he mentioned their reply, "a promise is just a promise." Nevertheless, he underscored their unwavering commitment, stating that his calendar has no holidays, reflecting the honor and responsibility they feel in serving the Indonesian people.
