Retaining wall of 5-story building collapses in Amasya: Investigation launched

In Amasya, a concerning incident occurred when the retaining wall of the 5-story Kayışoğlu Apartment in the Şeyhcui Mahallesi Elik Sokak collapsed around noon. The sudden failure of the wall caused debris to scatter into the garden of an adjacent single-family home, raising immediate safety concerns for residents.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the collapse. Upon hearing the loud noise, residents of the apartment building promptly notified the 112 Emergency Call Center. Emergency services, including firefighters, police, and municipal teams, were dispatched to the scene to secure the area and assess the situation.
