Royal Medal Inspires Journalist to Produce Quality Writing

Journalist Mohd. Hafiz Abd. Mutalib of Utusan Malaysia has been honored with the Royal Service Medal (PJB) by the Raja of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail. The award recognizes his significant contributions to journalism and his efforts in elevating the state's profile through quality writing.

With nearly two decades in the profession, Hafiz, a father of three, has produced numerous news reports and articles focusing on Perlis's development, economy, heritage, and tourism. His work has been instrumental in showcasing the state's potential to a wider audience. Throughout his career, which has included assignments in Kuala Lumpur, Kelantan, and Perlis, he has garnered various journalism awards and accolades.

Hafiz expressed that the PJB is more than just an honor; it serves as a powerful motivator to continue producing journalism that is high-quality, authoritative, and adds value to society. He views each recognition as a trust to deliver accurate, integrity-driven reports that prioritize public interest and the state's development.
