Sacrifices of national heroes are an invaluable legacy - IGP

The sacrifices made by national heroes in defending Malaysia's peace, security, and sovereignty are an invaluable legacy that all Malaysians must continue to remember and cherish, said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohd. Khalid Ismail. He stressed that the contributions of these heroes should be continuously fostered in the hearts of every citizen.

In a message for Heroes' Day 2026, the Inspector-General expressed his appreciation to all national heroes. Accompanied by his wife, Puan Sri Munirah Che Rose, who is also the Chairperson of the Royal Malaysia Police Families Association (PERKEP) Malaysia, and the entire Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) force, he extended greetings for Heroes' Day to all national heroes.
