Six-Meter Trojan Horse Installation Arrives in Jakarta to Welcome Film 'The Odyssey' Screening

To celebrate the upcoming release of the film "The Odyssey" on July 15, Universal Pictures has brought a piece of Greek mythology to Jakarta. A towering six-meter-tall Trojan Horse installation now stands at The Crystal, Senayan City, captivating visitors and immersing them in the world of Greek mythology.

This impressive installation is part of a global campaign for "The Odyssey," the latest film from director Christopher Nolan, which adapts Homer's classic epic. The Trojan Horse was chosen as an iconic symbol of Greek mythology and its direct connection to Odysseus's journey after the Trojan War. This installation is not only a major attraction but also holds the distinction of being the first of its kind in The Crystal, Senayan City, and the only one of its kind in Asia.

The Trojan Horse installation will be on display from July 9 to July 26, adding to the excitement surrounding the film's theatrical release. "The Odyssey" boasts a star-studded cast, including Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, Zendaya, Charlize Theron, Samantha Morton, and John Leguizamo. Notably, it is the first feature film to be shot entirely with IMAX film cameras, promising a large-scale, immersive cinematic experience.

In Indonesia, "The Odyssey" will be shown exclusively in IMAX theaters for three weeks, with tickets already available for purchase since July 10. Beyond the installation, Universal Pictures is offering a collection of four limited-edition collectible pins inspired by iconic elements from the film. These pins will be released in stages throughout the IMAX exclusive run, with designs including a Horse Pin, Ship Pin, Lady Pin, and Helmet Pin, available through a lucky draw with the purchase of two IMAX tickets for "The Odyssey" on the same day and at the same cinema.
