Soekarno-Hatta Airport to Centralize Umrah Departures at Terminal 2F from July 2026

Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is set to centralize all Umrah pilgrim departures at Terminal 2F, beginning July 1, 2026. The initiative, spearheaded by PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJourney Airports), aims to streamline services and improve the overall travel experience for those embarking on their pilgrimage.

Heru Karyadi, General Manager of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, stated that the airport is continuously working to enhance its service quality for Umrah pilgrims. This consolidation of departures into a single terminal is a significant step in that direction, intended to provide a more organized and efficient process for travelers.

The move is expected to simplify logistics for both pilgrims and airport operations, potentially reducing congestion and improving passenger flow. By focusing Umrah services at Terminal 2F, the airport authorities anticipate a smoother journey for thousands of pilgrims annually.
