Terraced House Uninhabitable After Overnight Fire in Henstedt-Ulzburg

A fire has caused severe damage to a terraced house in Henstedt-Ulzburg, leaving it uninhabitable. The incident occurred overnight, with the blaze reportedly starting in the attic of the property around 11:13 p.m. on Monday.

Flames quickly spread to the roof structure, resulting in the complete destruction of the attic space. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the residents. However, the two neighboring terraced houses also sustained damage during the extensive firefighting operations, though they are believed to remain habitable based on current assessments.

Police estimate the material damage to be around 100,000 euros. The cause of the fire remains undetermined, prompting the criminal police to secure the scene and launch an investigation into the incident.
