Three Injured, One Detained After Violent Brawl in Norway

A violent confrontation in Fredrikstad, Norway, has resulted in three men in their 30s being taken into custody or hospitalized. The severe altercation occurred Tuesday evening, leaving at least two individuals with injuries requiring medical attention.

According to police, the incident involved at least two of the men engaging in a fierce fight. One of the injured parties was initially taken to Østfold Kalnes Hospital. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was subsequently transferred to Ullevål Hospital in Oslo.

Police official Sindre Dahlstrøm told Norwegian newspaper VG that authorities are working to determine each man's specific involvement in the fight. All three are considered suspects by the police.

The intensity of the fight necessitated a significant police response, with officers securing the area. Emergency medical personnel had to perform resuscitation efforts on one of the men to restore consciousness. The investigation is ongoing while one suspect remains in jail and the other two receive treatment in separate hospitals.
