Tourism Fiji brings Island experience to Wales

At the heart of the activation is a "Fijian Village" established within the Fan Zone in Wales. This immersive experience allows visitors to engage with authentic Fijian traditions, inspired by the "Fiji: Where Happiness Comes Naturally" campaign. Attendees can witness traditional meke performances, enjoy live music from Fijian artists, and admire handcrafted Fijian bures. Cultural activities such as traditional tote bag printing, coconut and wood carving demonstrations, and sampling authentic Fijian cuisine are also available.

Tourism Fiji asserts that this initiative provides international visitors with a genuine introduction to the Fijian people, their rich heritage, and unique way of life.
