Two men arrested for obstructing Selangor Forestry Department operation

Two local men have been detained for allegedly obstructing public servants during an enforcement operation by the Selangor State Forestry Department in the Sungai Buloh Forest Reserve. The operation was focused on seizing illegally placed RORO bins in the area.

According to sources, the situation escalated when the two men aggressively confronted the enforcement officers. One of the suspects allegedly drove a truck recklessly towards an officer and attempted to ram into the team. The suspect also reportedly took the keys of an enforcement vehicle and behaved disrespectfully towards the officers carrying out their duties.

The suspects are accused of actively hindering the operation, which resulted in a physical struggle as officers attempted to apprehend them. The enforcement officers, acting in their official capacity, eventually detained the individuals.

Both suspects were taken to the Petaling Jaya District Police Headquarters for further investigation and remand proceedings. The case is being investigated under provisions related to obstructing public servants. The Director of Selangor Forestry, Azhar Ahmad, confirmed the incident.
