The United States launched a new series of strikes against Iran on Monday, escalating a conflict that has seen Iranian actions in the Gulf and threats from its allies.

U.S. President Donald Trump warned Iran would pay "many times more" for each American soldier killed. This statement followed the deaths of three U.S. service members in recent days. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian declared that the Islamic Republic of Iran is engaged in "full-scale war" following nine consecutive nights of U.S. bombings.
