The youth wing of Denmark's Liberal Party, Venstre Ungdom, has voiced strong criticism, asserting that the party has strayed from its core liberal principles since entering a "center-right" coalition government with the Social Democrats and Moderates. Jens Paaske Klausen, the chairman of Venstre Ungdom, expressed his disappointment in an interview with Berlingske, stating that the party needs to "sharpen its profile and return to its roots."

Meanwhile, Venstre's leader, Troels Lund Poulsen, has been tasked with forming a new government, a process that will undoubtedly be influenced by these internal party dynamics and the broader political climate.
