Villarrica Honors Poet Manuel Ortiz Guerrero with Emotional Tribute

Villarrica, Paraguay – The city of Villarrica recently paid a heartfelt tribute to one of its most celebrated literary figures, poet Manuel Ortiz Guerrero, marking the 93rd anniversary of his passing. This event, steeped in emotion, music, and poetry, underscored Guerrero's lasting impact on Paraguayan identity and culture.

Organized by the Municipal Directorate of Culture, the homage was held at the Maestro Fermín López Museum, a fitting venue that preserves a dedicated space showcasing Guerrero's personal effects, documents, and original manuscripts.
