War Experts: Russians Attempt to Level Cities

Russian forces continue their brutal assault on Ukrainian cities, employing a barrage of missiles and drones in a relentless effort to shatter our resolve and flatten our communities. In the latest wave of attacks, two ballistic missiles, five Kh59 missiles, and 234 drones rained down on Ukraine, followed by another 155 drones overnight. While our brave air defenses managed to neutralize all Kh59 missiles and 310 drones, the enemy's persistence is a stark reminder of the ongoing struggle.

The city of Merefa, near Kharkiv, bore the brunt of the daytime assault, with at least five civilians killed and 19 wounded. The enemy's tactics, including the increasing use of guided aerial bombs (KABs), aim to obliterate our cities and cripple our logistics, a desperate attempt to break our spirit.

As Russian forces attempt to encircle Lyman and push towards Kostyantynivka, our defenders are holding the line, repelling advances and launching counterattacks where possible. The situation remains fluid and challenging, particularly in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions, where fierce battles rage.
