West Java Lawmaker Hails New PWI Leadership, Emphasizes Professionalism

A regional lawmaker has expressed optimism for the future of journalism in West Java following the election of a new leader for the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI).

Pradi Supriatna, a member of the West Java Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) from the Gerindra Party faction, congratulated Tantan Sulthon on his election as the Chairman of PWI West Java for the 2026–2031 term. Supriatna hopes Sulthon's leadership will foster greater solidarity and professionalism within PWI Jabar, enabling it to make positive contributions to society and regional development.
