Wilder Viera Officially Presented as New Signing for Instituto de Córdoba

Paraguayan midfielder Wilder Viera Caballero has officially completed his transfer to Argentine club Instituto de Córdoba, marking his first foray into international football. The club announced the signing, confirming Viera's addition to their professional squad after his departure from Paraguayan side Cerro Porteño.

Instituto Atlético Central Córdoba detailed the terms of the agreement, stating that Viera has signed a contract for 18 months, which will run until December 31, 2027. The deal also includes an option for the club to extend his tenure for an additional three seasons, providing long-term potential for the player and the team.

This transfer represents a significant step in Viera's career, as he embarks on his first professional experience outside of Paraguay. Prior to this move, he played for General Caballero in 2022 and most recently for Cerro Porteño. Viera arrives in Córdoba with a solid professional record, having played 137 official matches and scored six goals, including 26 appearances in the Copa Libertadores.
