Wrong-way driver hits car, durian stall in Kuala Lumpur

A man driving against traffic caused a multi-vehicle accident and damaged a durian stall in Kepong Baru, Kuala Lumpur, late Tuesday night. The incident occurred around 10:25 p.m. when the suspect's car allegedly entered the wrong lane.

The vehicle collided with another car before veering off the road and crashing into a durian stall situated on the roadside. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the drivers of the two vehicles or any bystanders.

Authorities are currently investigating the incident. Police are recording statements from the drivers involved, seeking CCTV footage from the scene, and appealing for witnesses to come forward. The case is being investigated under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987, which pertains to reckless or dangerous driving.

Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department Deputy Chief Superintendent Suffian Abdullah urged the public with any information to contact the Tun H.S. Lee Traffic Police Station or any nearby police station to assist with the investigation.
