Young athletes pray to Mazu for international success

The Dajia Mazu pilgrimage, one of the world's most significant religious events, continues to draw devotees seeking blessings long after its conclusion. This year, the prayers extended to our young athletes from Longjing Elementary and Junior High Schools, whose girls' U11 and boys' U14 handball teams are set to compete in Slovenia this July.

We pray that Mazu will bless the athletes with safety in training and success in competition, and continue to win glory for Taichung.

It is deeply inspiring to see our para-athletes, including Asian Para Games representatives Liu Yating and Li Bingyu, join these aspiring handball stars in seeking divine favor. Their collective prayer for success at the National Paralympics Games and the international tournament in Slovenia underscores a shared hope for achievement and recognition.

Local leaders, such as Councilor Lin Mengling, and prominent figures like Taiwan Power Company General Manager Wang Yaoting, along with various community organizations and businesses, have rallied behind these teams.
