Zelenskyy: Putin preparing for new mobilization after September elections

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin is preparing for a new wave of mobilization, which he believes will occur after September 21. Zelenskyy cited intelligence reports indicating Putin's intention to increase troop numbers within Russia.

"He is preparing for mobilization. He wants to do it after the elections on September 21. He wants to increase mobilization in his country. Not too openly, because he is afraid of his society, but in the first days of October, he will do it – if we do not create problems for him with logistics, oil products, diesel, and if our partners do not impose comprehensive sanctions against his aggression," Zelenskyy said, as quoted by Ukrinform.
