2027: Alia moves to reconcile APC stakeholders in Benue, invites Akume, others

Recognizing the importance of internal cohesion, the governor has convened a high-level reconciliation meeting, extending invitations to key stakeholders, including the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume. For those of you who belong to APC, I advise that we come together as one entity. I have written to the SGF, Senator George Akume, inviting him, along with members of the National and State Assemblies and other stakeholders of our party, for an internal meeting.

The governor's efforts are bolstered by the tangible support shown by various groups, as evidenced by the joint purchase of his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms by the Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP) and the Benue Motorcycle Owners Association (BMOA). This gesture of solidarity underscores the broad base of support Alia commands within the state and highlights the active engagement of civil society organizations in the political process.
