Bandung Zoo Animals Continue to Receive Food Supply

The Bandung Zoo is navigating a critical transition period, ensuring the welfare of its 700 animals remains paramount. Despite previous concerns about the cessation of food supplies funded by the Ministry of Forestry, the zoo confirmed on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, that its regular provisions from vendors are continuing as normal. This vital supply chain, which provides about 80 percent of the animals' daily needs, is currently being temporarily covered by the Ministry.
