BMW Rescued After Balancing on Guardrail in Kaunas

Kaunas residents witnessed a bizarre sight last night as a BMW was discovered precariously perched atop a guardrail near the popular "Mega" shopping center. The unusual incident, reported to "Kas vyksta Kaune" (What's Happening in Kaunas) by a reader at 7:46 PM, quickly drew the attention of local authorities. Police were dispatched to the scene, arriving shortly after the initial report at 7:15 PM.

According to officials from the Kaunas County Chief Police Commissariat, the driver of the BMW, a woman, lost control of the vehicle, causing it to mount the guardrail. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the accident, and the driver was found to be sober. The incident is currently under official registration.

This peculiar event occurred shortly after another significant traffic incident on the A1 highway earlier in the evening, where three cars and a truck were involved in a collision around 5:00 PM.
