Chung Jye Group deploys 10MW solar power system in Vietnam

Chung Jye Group, a significant player in the footwear industry, is taking a major step towards its environmental commitments by deploying a 10MW solar power system in Vietnam. This strategic move underscores the company's dedication to achieving its Net Zero 2030 target and reinforces Vietnam's position as a key manufacturing base for sustainable practices.

The project, slated for operation by the third quarter of 2026, is expected to generate approximately 10.95 million kWh of clean electricity each year. This substantial output will not only contribute to reducing carbon emissions by an estimated 5,500 tons annually but also significantly enhance the company's operational efficiency and environmental credentials.

This investment in renewable energy is particularly crucial in the current global landscape, where international brands are increasingly scrutinizing their supply chains for adherence to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria. By embracing green energy solutions, Chung Jye Group not only strengthens its internal capabilities but also meets the growing demands of global partners for sustainable sourcing, thereby boosting its image and market competitiveness.

Representing a collaborative effort, the project involves Việt Sáng Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. as the implementing company and TJ Capital, a Taiwan-based firm with a strong background in renewable energy, providing expertise and solutions. This partnership highlights a shared vision for a sustainable future, aligning with Vietnam's broader goals for energy transition and economic development.
