Ex-Kaduna councillor picks APC forms for Assembly race

In Kaduna State, political maneuvering is heating up as former Katari Ward councillor Yahaya Maigida officially enters the race for the Kaduna State House of Assembly. Maigida has acquired the All Progressives Congress (APC) nomination and expression of interest forms, signaling his intent to represent the Kachia Constituency. His decision to vie for a seat in the state assembly is rooted in a commitment to enhance grassroots representation and tackle critical issues affecting his constituents.

Maigida articulated that his decision stems from years of listening to the concerns of the people in Kachia.
