Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on Route 3 Claims Young Motorcyclist's Life

A tragic traffic accident on Route 3 has claimed the life of a 19-year-old motorcyclist, casting a somber shadow over the Bella Unión region. The collision, which occurred at kilometer 626, involved a complex interplay of vehicles, including two motorcycles, a car, and a truck.

According to Policía Caminera, the 19-year-old, who was operating one of the motorcycles, was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident resulted in injuries to others involved, including a 29-year-old woman who was a passenger in the truck and a 21-year-old man riding the other motorcycle. Both were transported to the hospital with varying degrees of trauma.

While the investigation into the exact cause of the crash is ongoing, authorities confirmed that the drivers of the truck and the car, a 32-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man respectively, were unharmed and tested negative for alcohol.
