Lithuania: Fewer Applications for Heating Cost Compensation This Year

The Ministry of Social Security and Labour (SADM) in Lithuania has released figures indicating a slight decrease in applications for heating and water cost compensation this past heating season. Delfi reports that from September to April, 408,400 residents sought assistance, a 1.4% drop compared to the 414,400 applications filed during the same period last year.
