Parti Wawasan Negara opens doors to former Bersatu leaders in Terengganu

Parti Wawasan Negara (PWN) in Terengganu is extending an open invitation to leaders and members of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (Bersatu) who have recently resigned, encouraging them to join its ranks. The party positions itself as an inclusive platform for political engagement in Malaysia.

Datuk Abdul Aziz Ismail, the coordinator for PWN Terengganu, announced the party's openness, emphasizing its core philosophy of a "New National Consensus." He stated that this initiative stems from a belief that Malaysian politics must transcend current internal divisions and focus on the broader future of the people and the nation. Abdul Aziz highlighted that this approach aligns with the vision of PWN President Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin, who has called on former Bersatu leaders to collaborate with PWN.

Indeed, it is in line with the great spirit of Wawasan Negara President, Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin, who invited friends of the Bersatu leadership who have stepped down to fight together with Wawasan Negara.

PWN aims to serve as a bridge for unity, creating opportunities to consolidate the experience, energy, and strength of various parties who believe in a more mature and inclusive political approach centered on public interest. This comes at a time when Bersatu Terengganu is reportedly facing a leadership crisis.

Recently, the state chief of Bersatu Terengganu, Datuk Razali Idris, announced his resignation. This was followed by the resignations of two other senior party officials: Mohd. Zawawi Ismail, the State Assemblyman for Telemong, and Mohd Husaimi Hussin, the Treasurer for Bersatu Terengganu. The invitation from PWN suggests an effort to absorb or attract political figures affected by these internal party shifts.
