President Prabowo Subianto's administration is set to significantly enhance educational technology by distributing an additional three interactive smart boards to every school across Indonesia. This move builds upon the existing program that provided one digital whiteboard per institution, aiming to further bridge the digital divide and improve learning quality. During his visit to Leato Selatan, Gorontalo, the President emphasized the transformative potential of these smart boards, particularly for educators in remote areas. He highlighted how these tools can provide access to supplementary learning materials and lesson plans from the central government, effectively bringing resources to even the most isolated classrooms.

Furthermore, President Prabowo pointed out the innovative monitoring capabilities offered by the smart boards. The government, he explained, will be able to observe classroom activities nationwide from Jakarta. This feature, he suggested, could help ensure teacher accountability by identifying instances of absence. This technological push is part of a broader effort by the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, which has already distributed hundreds of thousands of digital interactive panels, laptops, and external hard drives, alongside providing internet and electricity access to underserved schools throughout 2025. The initiative reflects a strong commitment to modernizing Indonesia's education system and ensuring equitable access to quality learning resources for all students, regardless of their geographical location.
