Two Arrested for Stealing Truck Batteries in Adana

In Seyhan district, Adana, a brazen act of theft occurred in the early hours of April 16th. Two individuals, Orhan K. and Sefa Y., were observed by security cameras meticulously stealing batteries from parked trucks. The duo, cruising in a car, first targeted one truck, removing two batteries, and then proceeded to steal four more from two other trucks parked nearby. Their actions were captured on a security camera, providing crucial evidence for the authorities. The owners of the targeted trucks reported the thefts, prompting an investigation by the Anti-Theft and Pickpocketing Bureau. Police were able to trace the suspects' vehicle using the license plate information from the footage. A swift operation led to the apprehension of Orhan K. and Sefa Y. in the Yüreğir district. The stolen batteries were recovered during the search, and both suspects were subsequently arrested and remanded in custody by the court.
