In a brazen act of political intimidation, the headquarters of the Republican People's Party (CHP) in Keçiören, Ankara, was subjected to an attack. The party's Ankara Provincial Directorate swiftly condemned the assault, denouncing it not as an isolated incident but as a direct consequence of the persistent hate speech and divisive political tactics that have poisoned our nation's discourse for years. They rightly hold those who legitimize and propagate such a toxic environment politically accountable.

This attack on our Keçiören District Headquarters is by no means isolated. This attack is the direct result of the hate speech, polarization politics, and targeting that have been consciously fueled for years.

This cowardly act, involving stones and threats with a knife, is a clear attempt to instill fear and silence the opposition. However, the CHP stands firm, drawing strength from its organizational structure and the leadership of our esteemed Chairman, Özgür Özel. We declare unequivocally to those who believe they can suppress democratic politics through force and create a climate of fear: You will not break our spirit! We will not be intimidated, nor will we retreat.

Those who poison the politics of this country, who carve out space for themselves by dividing society, and who legitimize this language cannot escape political responsibility for what is happening today.

From this platform, we reaffirm our unwavering commitment to defending the will of the people, the rule of law, justice, democracy, and the foundational values of our Republic. We will intensify our struggle against this corrupt system, oppression, and the politics of hatred. Our organized struggle will not be silenced.
